ASL/English Interpreter
We provide skilled and professional ASL/English Interpreters with an Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) certification to provide interpreting services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students in educational settings. The interpreter will facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and staff, ensuring accessibility and equal participation in academic and extracurricular activities. Our interpreters stay informed on best practices in educational interpreting and Deaf education.
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Our speech-language pathology services are provided using a client-centered approach to foster the development of language. SLPs collaborate with families and members of the IEP team to target the generalization of skills. SLPs target the development of receptive and expressive skills to target improvement of pragmatic difficulties, reading comprehension, inferential skills, perspective-taking, theory of mind, problem-solving, and life skills. Our speech and language services meet children and clients wherever they are in their communication abilities.
Teacher of the Deaf (TOD)
Teachers of the Deaf provide high-quality instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH). TODs possess expertise in Deaf education and are committed to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment. Our TODs are trained to adapt curriculum materials to meet the learning requirements of DHH students. Using a variety of teaching strategies, including ASL and spoken English, TODs collaborate with the IEP team to support language and literacy development. Our TODs continue to stay current with best practices, research, and developments in Deaf Education.
