We Teach To Empower Communication
Empowering Communications was established with the mission to resolve persistent challenges by programs serving Deaf and hard of hearing children and their families.
Our services provide schools and families access to professionals, enhancing their capacity to deliver essential services to more students. We partner with professionals with extensive education and expertise and innovative thinkers introducing new ideas that help expand our ability to provide a wider range of services and instructional techniques for all Deaf education programs.
Not only do we serve schools, but we also collaborate with families to match their children with clinicians who align with their schedules and skills. We are a progressive company that continually educates our clinicians and keeps them up-to-date with advancements in the DHH community. At Empowering Communications, we aim to bridge clients with qualified therapists who are passionate about developing the abilities to support the unique needs of the DHH population.
SLP Services
Schools: Our speech-language pathology services aim to match therapists and clients based on individual needs. We provide both short-term and long-term support connecting schools, families, and speech-language professionals. Our speech and language services meet children and clients wherever they are in their communication abilities.
Clinicians: At Empowering Communications, we connect therapists with schools that match their skills, needs, and schedules. We facilitate both long-term and short-term partnerships between schools and therapists. Our services include providing therapists with clinical fellowship mentorship opportunities, professional development resources, mentoring/training, and a resource library.
SLP Internships
Schools: For young professionals new to the Deaf community and finishing graduate school, finding mentors can be challenging. At Empowering Communications, we have seasoned professionals with the knowledge and experience to train interns, guide them, and complete the necessary paperwork to officially approve their internships and move on to becoming certified SLPs.
Clinicians: If you’re an experienced speech-language pathologist seeking to further develop your expertise or advance your career, we provide ample opportunities for professional growth at Empowering Communications. Seasoned SLPs have the chance to mentor and train developing clinicians, helping them transition from graduate students to practicing therapists. By sharing your knowledge and skills with the next generation of speech-language pathologists, you can broaden

Schools: At Empowering Communications, our speech-language pathologists have extensive education and experience. We provide mentorship to help new clinicians transition into their careers. We offer training and guidance in many areas to ease the shift from graduate student to practicing therapist.
Clinicians: With increasing numbers of young professionals emerging from graduate school, we understand your experience is limited. We’re here to work with you. Empowering Communications focuses not only on the connections between therapists and schools, but on the ongoing growth and knowledge of our clinicians. Through extensive opportunities like our Clinician Fellowship Mentoring, professional development, resource library, and mentoring/training, we make this happen.
